What to Do at Larnaca Airport

Restaurants & Cafés

  • The airport has a platter of restaurants to choose from like Atrium Restaurant and Finns Seafood Bar. You can order a proper sit-down meal which wasn’t heated up in the airplane and served lukewarm. Cafes like Costa Coffee and Upper Crust offer delicious coffee. Burger King is available for connoisseurs of fast food. Airside, Kouzina serves Greek dishes and international favorites, and Kafenio is the spot for a classic Cypriot coffee.

Shops & Lifestyle Stores

  • Duty-free is well stocked, with names like Jo Malone and Gucci alongside Fashion Avenue and Kypriaka for something more local. A toy shop, gift shop, and pharmacy round out the main concourse.

Lounges / Relax Spots

  • The Swissport Executive Lounge is open 24/7, seats up to 190 people, and even has a dedicated kids' area with games. The Aphrodite Lounge is known for its open terrace overlooking the runway — a nice spot to watch planes while you wait.

Other Activities

  • This isn't an airport built for extended entertainment, but the terrace views from the lounges and the pink-tinged salt lake outside make for a nice bit of scenery if you've got a window seat while you wait.

Suggested Layover Itineraries

  • 3-hour layover (Stay in the airport): Clear customs, have a bite at Kouzine or one of the restaurants and unwind in the Aphrodite Lounge.
  • 5–6 hour layover(Don’t Travel Too Far): Take a short taxi into town (Larnaca) and walk along the beautiful Finikoudes beach promenade. Plan your return mindfully, giving enough time to get through security.
  • 8+ hour layover: With half a day you can see Larnaca’s old town, the Church of Saint Lazarus, and enjoy proper seafood by the marina. Be sure to account for the rush in peak summer.
